Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is a third wave behavioural therapy that focuses on acceptance of thoughts and feelings, while assisting the individual to clarify that which is important to them in life.

It incorporates mindful awareness of the present moment and strategies to reduce the power of unhelpful thoughts, while also encouraging the individual to take action towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
